Don’t be a rebel

No one likes a rebel.Don’t be one. You will never be anyone’s favorite.You may end up being alone.No one like a person who creates chaos,challenges the existing order.You would probably be classified as a “discomfort”, a person who does not know to play along. A misfit.

Don’t be a rebel unless you don’t care about being liked. Unless the approval of the world means nothing to you.Unless standing up for yourself means more than being someone’s ‘yes man’. Unless you are the kind of person who would rather choose to have 5 honest friends ,than having a 100 people in your friend list who praise you in your presence and the moment you turn your back they say the nastiest things about you. But never mind,honesty is brutal and not everyone’s cup of coffee.

No one likes a person who challenges the status quo.Your boss will hate you,a lot of your friends will outcast you as a lunatic,chances are you may even ruin the relationship you are in.You will probably end up bloke,without a place of your own,you may have to give up on those promotions some of your colleagues get,you may have to quit on the Mercedes car you dreamed to own by the time you were 30.Its not worth being a rebel,unless of course,you realize that the job you are in currently where you constantly say ‘yes’ to your boss is not really something in which you find happiness. Those people you so call friends were going to leave you anyway the day your money or position runs out.That girl you thought loved you,actually cared more about your bank balance than you.You may finally get those vacations you had been craving for since you graduated to explore the world. And that Mercedes car ,well you can still have it;maybe this time when you put the seat belt around you,you will be a happier driver. But again,who really would want such a life ?
